REAL Houston, the Consulate General of Denmark, and the Danish-American Chamber of Commerce hosted an important discussion on energy resiliency, accessibility, and reliability amid growing demand challenges and the heightened risk of cyberattacks on energy infrastructure.
Both the US and Denmark are facing unprecedented electricity demand growth, with the war in the Ukraine presenting additional challenges to the Danish energy sector. The most digitized energy sector in the world, cyber attacks and increasing hybrid warfare have put further strain on the Danish energy system.
How can asset operators, project developers, technology manufacturers, and advisors meet these challenges? What lessons from Denmark can be applied to the U.S. and vice versa?
Over 100 attendants came together on March 11, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Briar Club for this important conversation. They enjoyed a happy hour with light bites and beverages from 5:30-6:15 PM, followed by the panel discussion at approximately 6:15 PM. A reception followed, concluding at 8:30 PM.
